The SB-555H Motocalibur is a one-handed lightsaber-like weapon whose blade is made from Sol Glass, and takes form as one of Auto Vajin's left handlebar when not in use.
Upon initiating Exceed Charge, it allows Rider Operator Series 1 to use the finisher of this weapon called the Tsubamegaeshi (ηθΏγ? lit, "Turning Swallow Cut"), where Rider Operator Series 1 fires an anti-gravity pulse along the ground, immobilizing ground-based enemies by levitating them in the air, and overcharge the energy in the blade, allowing it to perform more powerful cuts.
It is important to note that the damage is not caused by the blade's sharpness itself, but by the energy that it discharges once in contact with the target. However, when used against a human being, the energy emitted on the blade is potentially harmful to the point causing acute radiation poisoning when used on a person. Only those who have transplanted Orphnoch DNA, or have used any Rider Belt can grant immunity for the users. Worms are also weak to the energy emitted on the blade, and can easily destroy them in their Salis forms before they have chances to molt, as the energy is powerful enough to penetrate the shell.
Accel Mode's Exceed Charge is thoroughly enhanced the Motocalibur's finisher into the Shin Tsubamegaeshi (ηγ»ηθΏγ? lit, "True Turning Swallow Cut"), allowing Rider Operator Series 1 to slash multiple enemies while running through them, or continuously slash an enemy in quick succession until ten seconds lapses.
Notes[]
- The name of this weapon is derived from the words "motorcycle" and "Excalibur". The latter being the magical sword known in Arthurian legends.
- Much like in its original counterpart, the blade is already extended without the Mission Memory, but in later uses, Rider Operator Series 1 needs to place the Mission Memory for the blade to extend. If the Mission Memory is not inserted, the weapon also doubles as a light guide stick.
- The Exceed Charge finisher of this weapon, the Tsubamegaeshi (or Tsubame Gaeshi, regardless of the spelling), was a famous technique of the fabled Japanese swordsman, Sasaki KojirΕ, the naming of the technique is due to the resemblance of the movement of a swallow's tail in flight, or cut down a swallow in mid-flight.
