Mage Rings

KRWi-Wizard Ring (Empty)

A Mage Ring without any Magic Gem.

The Mage Rings are the jewelery-like power source of Kamen Riders Magura and Chimera, as well as Kamen Rider Wisewoman, and Kamen Rider Magician. They are rings infused with magical stones, which possess powers that vary between the kind of the stones used in the crafting.

All Mages possesses two kinds of Mage Rings: the left-handed Transformation Rings for transformation, with Magura having the ability to change his current forms and the right-handed Magic Rings for performing spells, as well as summoning their personal weapons.

Magura's Mage Rings can be stored inside a chest known simply as the Mage Ring Box.

Magura's Mage Rings[]

  • Flame Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Flame Spell. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with the element of fire when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.
  • Aqua Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Aqua Spell. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with the element of water when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.
  • Wind Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Wind Spell. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with the element of wind when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.
  • Earth Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Earth Spell. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with the element of earth when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.

  • Flame Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Flame Dragon Mode. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with stronger fire magic when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.
  • Aqua Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Aqua Dragon Mode. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with stronger water magic when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.
  • Wind Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Wizard to transform into Wind Dragon Mode. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with stronger wind magic when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.
  • Earth Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Earth Dragon Mode. Also imbues his Magical Gun-Sword with stronger earth magic when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.

  • Infinite Mage Ring: Allows Magura to transform into Infinite Mage Spell, equipped with the DragoExcalibur. Also enables him to move at blinding speeds when scanned on the MageDriver a second time after the transformation, as well as imbue his Magical Gun-Sword with the elements of fire, water, wind, and earth when scanned on the weapon's Hand Author.


  • Driver Activate Mage Ring: Activates Daniel's MageDriver.
  • Rider Kick Mage Ring: Allows Magura to perform the Rider Kick of his current Spell'.

  • Engage Mage Ring: Allows Magura to enter a person's Inner Realm through a Magical Portal to stop a new Wraith from being born. By defeating their inner Wraith, the person it inhabits will remain a human.
  • DragonRaiser Mage Ring: Only compatible with Flame Spell or Flame Dragon Mode. Summons the Dragomage in an Underworld. If Magura summons Dragomage while in Flame Dragon Mode, he will revert back to Flame Spell.
  • Portal Mage Ring: Opens a Magical Portal between two different locations. Typically used to retrieve the Magical Gun-Sword, MageRider, or Dragon Timer.
  • Shrink Mage Ring: Shrinks down the wearer drastically to less than an inch.
  • Shield Mage Ring: Allows Magura to conjure his Magical Portal as a shield to block enemy attacks. If in Rider form, the shield is made from the element of Magura's current Spell.
    • Flame Spell: A dome of fire that melts objects upon contact.
    • Aqua Spell: A veil of water that not only blocks attacks, but can also slam into enemies to splash them.
    • Wind Spell/Wind Dragon: A giant wind force appears all around Magura that not only blocks attacks, but can also force enemies back.
    • Earth Spell/Earth Dragon: A slab of stone that not only blocks enemy attacks, but can also entomb them if they charge right into it.
    • Flame Dragon: An eruption similar to a volcano appears around Magura to protect him from enemy attacks.

    • Infinite Spell: Unknown
  • Sleep Mage Ring: Puts the wearer to sleep.
  • Grow Mage Ring: Allows Magura to enlarge his arms to hit enemies with. When used on the Magical Gun-Sword's Hand Author, it enlarges the weapon.
  • Lantern Mage Ring: Emits a bright flash of light which brightens darkened areas and blinds foes.
  • Liquid Mage Ring: Only compatible with Aqua Spell or Aqua Dragon Mode. Temporarily transmutates Magura's body into a liquid-like state to make melee attacks useless or to grapple with a foe.
  • Bind Mage Ring: Restrains a target with six strands of mystical chains. When not transformed, the chains are made of metal. Otherwise, the form of the chains depend on Magura's current Style.
    • Flame Spell/Flame Dragon: Metal chains.
    • Aqua Spell: Liquid chains.
    • Wind Spell: Metal chains.
    • Earth Spell/Earth Dragon: Stone chains.
    • Aqua Dragon: Ice chains.
    • Wind Dragon: Unknown
    • Infinite Spell: Unknown
  • Duplicate Mage Ring: Creates corporal copies of Magura that move in synchronization with him. When used on the Magical Gun-Sword's Hand Author, it creates a duplicate of the weapon.
  • Drill Mage Ring: Primarily used with Earth Spell or Earth Dragon. Allows Magura to spin at high speeds to burrow through the ground. If used after the Rider Kick Ring, it enhances the Strike Mage finisher by spiralling and focusing the energy.
  • Gas Mage Ring: Releases a horrible odor that emits from the wearer.
  • Stretch Mage Ring: Allows Magura to elongate a part of his body.
  • Dress Up Mage Ring: Changes the wearer's clothes into an outfit appropriate for the setting (i.e., a formal suit for a fancy party, a student's uniform to enter a school)
  • Max Mage Ring: Temporarily enhances Magura's muscles to spectacular results. If in Rider form, Magura becomes a hulking giant that can easily destroy monsters.
  • Fall Mage Ring: Creates a hole for Magura or anyone/anything else to fall into. If he so wishes it to, Magura can make the hole appear temporarily to avoid being directly followed.

  • Dragon Mage Ring: Only compatible with Flame Spell or one of the Dragon Spells. If used in Flame Spell, Magura can generate a stream of fire from his Magical Portal. If used in a Dragon Spell, Magura is equipped with a different part of Dragomage's body to aid him in battle.
    • Flame Dragon: Summons the Dragon Skull on Magura's chest, which allows him to execute the Rider Shot: Dragon Breath attack.
    • Aqua Dragon: Summons the Dragon Tail on Magura's lower back, which allows him to split large bodies of water in half, as well as execute the Rider Slash: Dragon Tail attack.
    • Wind Dragon: Summons the Dragon Wings on Magura's back, which allows him to fly, as well as execute the Rider Slash: Dragon Slash attack.
    • Earth Dragon: Summons the Dragon Claws on Magura's arms, which allows him to cleave through anything, as well as execute the Rider Slash: Dragon Claw attack.
  • Blizzard Dragon Mage Ring: Only compatible with Aqua Spell or Aqua Dragon. Initiates an attack called Attack Mode: Blizzard Blast, where Magura fires a blast of icy winds to freeze enemies in place, though the attack is smaller if used in Aqua Spell. When not in Rider form, it would presumably allow Daniel to control or generate ice through his Magical Portal.
  • Thunder Dragon Mage Ring: Only compatible with Wind Spell or Wind Dragon. Initiates an attack called Attack Mode: Thunder Blast, where Magura fires Dragomage in the form of sentient lightning to attack enemies, though the attack is smaller if used in Wind Spell. When not in Rider form, it would presumably allow Daniel to control or generate lightning through his Magical Portal.
  • Gravity Dragon Mage Ring: Only compatible with Earth Spell or Earth Dragon. Initiates an attack called Attack Mode: Gravity Blast, where Magura fires a blast of compressed gravity at the enemy to levitate them into the air and then drop them to the ground with a sharp increase in gravity, leaving a sizable crater as a result, though the attack is smaller if used in Earth Spell. When not in Rider form, it allows Daniel to control gravity wherever he aims his Magical Portal.

  • Garuda Mage Ring: Summons then powers the Red Garuda MagiBeast.
  • Unicorn Mage Ring: Summons then powers the Blue Unicorn MagiBeast.
  • Kraken Mage Ring: Summons then powers the Yellow Kraken MagiBeast.
  • Golem Mage Ring: Summons then powers the Violet Golem MagiBeast.

Chimera's Runes[]

  • Chimera Rune: Initiates the transformation into Kamen Rider Chimera. Also initiates his finisher, the Chimera Crush, when inserted into the ChimeraDriver while transformed. This is Chimera's only Rune that can fit into the left side of his ChimeraDriver.

  • Driver Activation Rune: Activates Edwin's ChimeraDriver. This is the only Rune Edwom possesses that he can use while the ChimeraDriver is in its inactive state.
  • Falcon Rune: Allows Chimera to gain the Falcon Cape, granting him the ability to fly at high speeds. If scanned on Daniel's MageDriver, it allows the wearer to turn into feathers to become invulnerable to enemy attacks.
  • Chameleon Rune: Allows Chimera to gain the Chameleon Cape, giving him camouflage abilities, a chameleon tongue-shaped whip for offensive capabilities, and appears to have an effect on his overall agility. If used in the ChimeraDriver untransformed, it allows the wearer to become invisible.
  • Buffalo Rune: Allows Chimera to gain the Buffalo Cape, enhancing his physical strength and endurance.
  • Dolphin Rune: Allows Chimera to gain the Dolphin Cape, granting him the ability to swim at high speeds and heal any ailment by emitting purple magical energy.
  • Engage Rune: Allows Chimera to enter a Magiman's Underworld through a Magical Portal.
  • Chimera Rune: Summons the Beastar in an Underworld. If Chimera summons Beastar while in Hyper Chimera, he will revert back to his original form.
  • Griffin Ring: Summons then powers the Green Griffin MagiBeast.
  • Hyper Chimera Rune: Allows Chimera to transform into Hyper Chimera. Also initiates his Beast Gatling'sRider Shot: Beast Blast finisher when the mouth is opened and inserted into the weapon's ring slot.

  • Shrink Mage Ring: Shrinks down the wearer drastically to less than an inch.
  • Dress Up Mage Ring: Changes the wearer's clothes into an outfit appropriate for the setting (i.e., a formal suit for a fancy party, a student's uniform to enter a school).


Necromage's Mage Rings[]

  • Dark Mage Ring: Initiates the transformation into Kamen Rider Necromage.

  • DarkDriver Mage Ring: Activates Necromage's DarkDriver. Looks almost identical to Daniel's Driver Activate Mage Ring, except with a red outline.
  • Portal Mage Ring: Opens a Magical Portal to two different locations. Necromage can also use this ring to retrieve her NecroCane.
  • Defend Mage Ring: Conjures a Magical Portal as a shield to block attacks. Looks identical to Daniel's Shield Ring.
  • Chain Mage Ring: Restrains a target with six strands of mystical chains. Looks identical to Daniel's Bind Ring.
  • Clone Mage Ring: Creates corporal copies of Necromage that move of their own accord. Looks identical to Daniel's Duplicate Ring, but functions more closely to his Dragon Timer.
  • Rider Kick Mage Ring: Allows Necromage to perform a Rider Kick. This was used by Necromage as one final attempt to defeat Magura in his Infinite Mage form.
  • Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Necromage to generate a stream of fire from her Magical Portal.
  • Thunder Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Necromage to generate lightning from her Magical Portal.
  • Gravity Dragon Mage Ring: Allows Wisewoman to control gravity wherever she aims her Magical Portal.
  • Blast Mage Ring: Creates an explosion of varying power wherever Necromage points.
  • Teleport Mage Ring: Allows Necromage to teleport to various places. Strangely, Necromage has been shown using this ring when she couldn't have possibly scanned it, suggesting that when he does scan it, it's merely a formality.
  • Eclipse Mage Ring: Forces a Solar Eclipse to occur. Unlike most Mage Rings, this ring has a golden base instead of a silver base. Used for The Reckoning ritual by Necromage. Although the Ring still remains, some of the magic inside has been transferred to the Wraiths allowing them to do a weaker version of the Reckoning.

  • Garuda Mage Ring: Summons the powers the White Garuda MagiBeast.
  • Cerberus Mage Ring: Summons the powers the Black Cerberus MagiBeast.

Magician's Mage Rings[]

  • Magician Mage Ring: Initiates the transformation into Kamen Rider Magiciain. In the series, there are 3 Magician Mage Rings belonging to Kamen Riders Savior, Caster, and Master respectively.

  • Driver Activation Mage Ring: Activates the user's MagicianDriver. Looks identical to Necromage's DarkDriver Mage Ring.
  • Rider Kick Mage Ring: Allows Magician to perform the Rider Kick. It can be enhanced by Magura's current spell to do a Double Rider Kick.
  • Portal Mage Ring: Used by Savior, Caster and Master. Opens a Magical Portal to two different locations. Magician can also use this ring to retrieve a Magical Gun-Sword.
  • Shield Mage Ring: Only used by Caster and Master. Conjures a Magical Portal as a shield to block attacks.
  • Bind Mage Ring: Only used by Savior and Caster. Restrains a target with six strands of mystical chains.
  • Grow Mage Ring: Only used by Savior. Allows a Magician to enlarge his/her arms to hit enemies with.
  • Dragon Mage Ring: Only used by Master and Caster. Allows a Magician to use a different finishing attack depending on who uses it.
    • Master: Allows him to use his tail as a whip, similar to Magura's Dragon Tail.
    • Caster: Generates a stream of fire from her Magical Portal, identical to Necromage's Dragon Mage Ring's effect.
  • Blizzard Dragon Mage Ring: Only used by Savior and Master. Allows a Magician to generate ice from his/her Magical Portal.
  • Thunder Dragon Mage Ring: Only used by Master. Allows a Magician to generate lightning from his/her Magical Portal.
  • Gravity Dragon Mage Ring: Only used by Caster. Allows a Magician to control gravity wherever he/she aims his/her Magical Portal.
  • Blast Mage Ring: Only used by Savior. Creates an explosive sphere wherever he points.
  • Teleport Mage Ring: Only used by Caster and Savior. Allows a Magician to teleport to various places.
  • Angel Mage Ring: Only used by Caster. Creates a holy light wave to wound the Wraith.
  • Garuda Wizard Ring: Only used by Caster. Summons then powers the White Garuda MagiBeast. Possibly the same one used by Necromage.
